Is an RF kit needed when installing into 2017 Hundai Accent T key w/ T harness?

looking to spec parts for an install. not sure if RF kit is needed.

Would any functionality be lost without one?

Yes a RFKIT is required for this vehicle. It is not 3x lock compatible.
