2008 volkswagen passat starts and shuts down

installed using wiring diagram. using evo-all. when attempting to start car will start and shut down immedately. WHEN KEY IS PLACED IN THE IGNITION CAR WILL start and run fine. did the wrap around a working key and doesnt work. yes the evo all lights up red (and yellow) when remote starting

If you disconnect the red connector on the evoall are you able to start the car with the key ?
