EvoAll capability.

Question

I want use Evo All in third gen(ZVW30) prius in the following manner:
1. Turn off smart key system.
2. Install Evo All
3. Open door.
4. Sit in the car.
5. Close door.
6. Press 3 times lock key inside car.
7. Drive car as usually.

Questions:
1. Can I shift gear to D/R/B or gearbox will be disabled?
2. Can I configure EvoAll to get calls only from configured keys in EvoAll not from all keys in car ECU?

Answer 1

1.The evo all is not designed to replace the oem smart key system,

2.Depending on the year of your Prius, a complete remote starter maybe required

3. All remote starter systems are designed to shut down once the brake pedal is depressed, depending on the year of the vehicle, some have a take-over feature. but all units eventually shut down and is not designed to operate the whole run time of the vehicle if it was to be driven around.
