EVO-ALL flashlink updater first time question.

First Evo-all product i've installed and have a question regarding the flash link program. Flashing the unit to a 14' VW Beetle PTS - flashing unit as a standalone.  My question is regarding the bottom right hand corner of the screen says bypass mode. Tried switching over to get it to remote start mode but the flashing program then says unit not discovered. Is this corect flash it as a bypass unit or am I missing something?

There is no remote starter side to an EVOALL. You have to flash it and program options on the Bypass side.
