Hi Michael,
Let me clarify one thing. In general, if by factory you cannot unlock your doors with the OEM fob while the vehicle is running, an additional aftermarket remote would be required. Additionally, we do not support Stand Alone Remote Starter (3x Lock) on the 2010 IS250. The EVO-ALL needs to be able to detect the lock and unlock signals from the vehicles Can-Bus in order for the 3xLock feature to work.
1. Am I able to install tihs myself? I live in Southern NJ and there doesn't seem to be any installers in this area and from the sounds of it, your unit uses wire harness plugs made for my vehicle, right? I'm pretty handy and believe I can do it if I have the proper instructions and there is no soldering involved.

Am i able to install a heat exchanger in my house? yes most probably. Would i do it? yeah right, there would be leaks everywhere. The complete installation of a remote starter and EVO-ALL can be found here. I cannot say if you can or cannot do it, we always recommend professionals. Also, the installation would be pretty much the same using any unit on the market since the remote starter would need to always wired the same way.

Our units do not use plugs that go directly to the vehicle for Lexus. Wiring is required.
2. Will I be able to use the factory OEM key fob to start/stop the car and to get in and out of the car? From what I understand on your website, this is the case unless I want to improve upon the range.

The EVO-ALL does not support 3xLock for this car. Some remote starters though have a feature/optional wiring, that can be programmed so that when wired accordingly, hitting 3xLock would activate the remote starter. I don't recommend this since your factory remote does not work while the vehicle is running.
3. Does your unit bypass the OEM security to allow the OEM remote to unlock/lock the doors while the car is running? This is the kicker so I'm trying to be very specific so that you understand... as it stands now, my OEM remote will not unlock/lock the doors if the car is running. Does you unit bypass this?

We do not control how the factory remotes operate, no aftermarket modules do that. Nothing would change and the factory remote would still not work while the vehicle is running. Our INT-SL+ controls door locks on this car but something needs to tell it to lock/unlock the doors.
All in all, a remote starter is required for this car along with a bypass unit for the vehicles passive anti-theft system.
A full installation with EVO-ALL + INT-SL+ and a remote starter would look like this :
EVO-ALL & INT-SL+ & Lexus IS250 / IS350 (2009-2013) - Revision 20140117
-
Using the INT-SL+ to control door locks prevents the installer to have to wire the remote starter to the vehicles door lock wires that are located in the driver door.
If not using an INT-SL+ to control door locks the installation would change a bit and wiring would look something this :
EVO-ALL & Lexus IS250 / IS350 (2008-2012) - with key take over - Revision 20110610
-
Door locks are not that in that installation plan but need to be wired from the remote starter to their appropriate wires which are located in the driver door.
