rfk411 not programming to evo-all using tbvw6 harness

Question

OEM remote works great but the rf kit won't program

The yellow light does not come on during programming when turning key to on position ... just solid blue and red

Confirmed H2 is on and A1 thru A11 are all on

The antenna blinks once when plugged in then nothing during programming

antenna blinks continuously when not in programming mode

any suggestions?

The THAR-VW6 section in 92441 guide doesn't show it but the "yellow" wire that's hanging out of the harness must be connected to the yellow wire on the A20 pin white connector. If not, the ignition won't recognize the module so the yellow light does not come on.  The yellow harness wire provides a +12V with the key in the "run" position.  Once I connected the wires I was done in less than 5 minutes programming the RFK411 kit. I wasted a lot of time the first night thinking i wasn't doing the programming procedure correctly.  :( The guide needs to be updated with this note.

Please try connecting the yellow wire (A1) on the 20 pin connector of the evo to ignition in the vehicle. Once that is done, re attempt rf programming.
