Ignition comes on but won't turn over

Question

Installed evo chrt5 with t harness and crimestopper sp502. Door locks work parking lights work and all ignition lights come on but doesn't crank. Remote says it's running but it isnt

All Doors, Trunk and Hood should be closed.  Did you follow the programming steps/ dip swtiches, for the Crimstopper Remote Starter for the Voltage Rise,  or a tacometer input? Try placing the key in the on postion, and then activate the remote starter.  If it cranks, then its possible the Chrt-5 is not porgrammed.

I installed a hood switch and if I have remote start connected to the chrt5 it says hood is open but if I disconnect it from the chrt5 it doesn't say it's open. Could it be an issue with the bypass? If I disconnect the bypass and start the truck with the key and turn on remote start and remove key it stays running until I turn it off with remote start. If I could figure out why the bypass shows hood open I think it would work.
