Mazda cx 30 shuts off after pressing the brake pedal

+1 vote

I recently purchased the THAR-ONE-MAZ5 with the EVO-ONE remote starter and immobilizer bypass module for my 2023 Mazda CX-30. I installed everything following Manual #99841, but I’m experiencing an issue.

Problem 1: Vehicle Shuts Down After Takeover

After remote-starting the vehicle using my OEM key, I follow the takeover procedure (Page 11 of Manual #99841). However, as soon as I press the brake pedal, the engine shuts off.

Problem 2: A/C & Accessories Not Working Properly

Additionally, most accessories (including A/C) do not turn on during remote start. Even if I manually activate the A/C after remote starting, I can hear the compressor running, but the blower fan does not work nor the A/C interface screen.

Hello,

What is the S/N number to the evo?

What is the complete VIN to the vehicle?

Where is the vehicle located? Canada, USA, Australia etc

Thank you.

S/N: 002B04 668734

VIN: JM7DMAW72P1212960

And it's located in Saudi Arabia

Please tell me if you need any additional information,

Thank You.
Additionally, both the remote starter and the bypass are updated to the latest update (since the time of the original post), and I have the (05/2024) EVO-ONE, so they all should meet the requirements for the cx-30 2023
Please perform a master reset to the evo-one: https://cdn.fortin.ca/en/download/61931/61931.pdf

Since you are using an evo one you will plug in the main 6 pin connector in place of the black 4 pin as mentioned in the instructions above.

From there you will need to re enable the vehicle specific options listed in the guide, followed by re programming in the vehicle and re dcrypting the module.

Once that is done re test the unit in the vehicle.

Best regards.
