2017 jetta, push to start, only remote starts when the driver's side door is open and the vent fans do not work.

using evo all as stand alone with the TB-VW harness for key bypass.

"only starting on door open" , is normaly a grounding problem.

 

"vent fans do not work" -

Car is started like human would start the car. Meaning, brake and the push button. There is no reason for the fans not to work. See if you can control them while it is remote started.
