Antenna light blinks constantly

I installed a 642w long range 2 way kit on my Silverado today and just noticed that the blue led on the antenna is constantly blinking. Is it supposed to blink 24/7 if the truck isn't running?

It will blink on lock press

it will stop blinking on unlock
