Why my remote do not open my doors after my car remote started

My 16 impala starts fine with my remote by i cant open my doors with my remote when it is running,

This is normal operation of the unit. 

 

As stated on our website and in the guide "OEM REMOTES ONLY FUNCTIONAL WHILE THE VEHICLE IS AT REST."
