Bought EVO-CHRT5 for 2005 dodge dakota be stand alone remote start?

Does my truck need aftermarket remote start module?

According to the install guide the standalone option is not available on the 2005 Dakota. You would need a remote start and the bypass module. You can get a crimestopper RS4-G5 remote start on amazon for $40.68 right now. It's a 5 button remote with 2000 foot range.

Thanks Mike after looking into different remote start I'm kinda leaning towards compustar cs800s but the crimestopper also looks like a nice choice.
