My EVO-ONE will not detect on bypass mode on flashlink manager3 but will detect on remote start mode?

It will not detect in bypass mode. I have tried unplugging it before switching to no avail.

quickly disconnect / reconnect the connector a few times. Barely pull it out and stuff it back in.

I can confirm that this indeed does work. I kept having issues getting this to connect in bypass mode but it connects perfectly first try on remote start mode, but after literally pulling it in and out 15 times I realized that if I pull it out half way then plug it back in that it works.
