WHEN I GET TO STEP 3 AND TURN ON THE IGNITION THE SOILID BLUE LIGHT TURNS OFF AND NO RED OR YELLOW SEQUENCE STARTS. WAITED UP TO 10 MINUTES. WHEN I TURN THE KEY OFF THE SOLID BLUE LIGHT TURNS ON SOLID.

Hi Larry. As stated in the installation guide on connection 1, you need firmware 4.06. Currently your unit is loaded with firmware 4.18.
