2020 Tundra OEM alarm orange wire spliced in?

Hard to tell from install guide. For OEM alarm, does the orange wire need to be spliced into the wire? Does it matter whether it is spliced into the original plug or the T-harness?

Hello,

Yes you must wire the orange wire in to dis arm the oem alarm. It gets wired into the t-harness on pin 2 as shown in this guide: https://fortin.ca/download/100781/evo-one_ig_thr_bi_toy10_tundra_2020-2021_hkey_a_100781.pdf
