Communication between phone and system

Question

What would cause thhe evo start 2 not to send back confirmation of starting vehicle? If im beside it sometimes it will... but more then 100 feet and its not responding back... (it starts but does not let me know it has started) and when it starts if i dont get confirmation i also get no info such as tach or battery or engine running

Make sure you have selected the correct protocol with the fortin and whichever phone system you are using.
